FMP Proposal

Updated: Mar 25, 2019

During the course, I have learnt a lot of skills within the Adobe Cloud programmes, such as; Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Premier Pro.

The most major achievement I gained on the course was probably learning how to use a camera properly, which has helped me start to take better pictures. I can also edit the images in a better way than I did before such as adding effects and using the levels or curves to adjust the brightness, contrast etc. Due to this, I now edit my own photos with my own style and effects. I learnt how the main subject does not have to always be in the centre of the frame, along with how aperture, shutter speed and the ISO affects an image when using a camera in manual mode.

Other than my focus being photography, I also want to focus on videography. Throughout the course I learnt how to edit a video together, as well as adding sound and music in the background.

I want to try use both photography and videography within my Final Major Project as they are both something I enjoy. If I need to learn more about any of the topics during the project, I will easily be able to find what I need to learn online, whether that is through YouTube or the Adobe website.

For my Final Major Project, I would like to base it around the band twenty one pilots. I already have a couple of ideas; however, I am still going to try come up with a few more in case the ideas I have do not work out the way I wanted or if I can come up with a better way to approach the topic.

I may write down how much time I would like to spend on the certain aspects of the project, such as research and focusing on the final project, and then see if they are reasonable times, if not, I will adjust the timings to make sure everything is done in a good amount of time without everything turning out to be rushed.

I will be staying organised by writing my time management and things I need to do down in a notebook, as well as keeping notes of the progress and what I need to focus on more if it isn't as good as I want it to be at that stage.

For my reflection, I will be keeping that in my blog and recording every bit of progress I make.

After I finish working on parts of my project, I will either write it down in my sketchbook or notebook to put in to my blog later when I can.

Throughout the project, I will also keep asking people I know how they think it is coming along and if there is anything I am able to do to improve at that time. I may also go with the approach of asking people within the twenty one pilots fan community and gain their thoughts on the project.
